Motivation for this change

Update to version 9.9.0. See the NEWS.

Starting with version 9.9.0 the man pages and their translations are not pre-built and bundled with the source code. The tool "xsltproc" and the DocBook XSL stylesheets for man pages are now required dependencies to build them.

Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing
    (nix.useSandbox on NixOS,
    or option build-use-sandbox in nix.conf
    on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • Linux
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.
