There are apparently some extra steps to setting up on this version of Mac OS X; have you had a chance to read this wiki page? See also #2130 for the last time Mac problems were brought up. |
Hey there! I'm a fun-loving automated bot who's responsible for making sure old support tickets get closed out. As we haven't seen any activity on this ticket for a while, we're hoping the problem has been resolved and I'm closing out the ticket automaically. If I'm doing this in error, please add a comment to this ticket to let us know, and we'll re-open it! |
Hi, I have followed all the steps on https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/wiki/Installing-CKAN-on-OSX and looked for solutions at #2130 but I am still experiencing the exact same problem at the one above. I have also tried using an even more recent version of mono than suggest at the linked page. |
@rvicars, are you seeing the same error text as above with the |
Can confirm error is still present. Seems to be down to incorrectly set +x ACLs. APFS file system uses executable flags and the .app folder, the binary inside the MacOS folder, and any other executing files like .wflow files. After changing those and finally getting it to start with 64 arch, all downloads fail. Updating CKAN fails, from what I think is attempting to put the update files somewhere without user write permissions - but it's not clear to me where or why - and mod repo updates fail with certificate errors. 10.13.6 Edit: CKAN version 1.25.1. Problem solved with 1.25.3. |
