Failed non-deterministically on hydra because replcation sometimes was not finished yet when checking the results.

Motivation for this change
#40257. Test failed non-deterministically on hydra because data replication sometimes was not finished yet when checking the results.
Fix this by waiting for replication to finish and make timing more robust.
