Motivation for this change

Fix this well documented error preventing me from using file dialogs under KDE.
GLib-GIO-ERROR **: No GSettings schemas are installed on the system

Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option build-use-sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • other Linux distributions
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

Notes

This was done very quickly so feel free to correct.

@xeji I think this should be backported into 18.03 since an essential function has been restored under non gtk environments.

No problem, but please test this change with 18.03 first and confirm that it works.
