Dont merge

This PR is only a reminder for 17.03.

Motivation for this change

Debugging should not make it into the next release.

Things done

Enough debugging.

This reverts commit 8ec776e.

Why is this enabled at all in the nixpkgs tree, shouldn't people enable this when they are actually debugging?

It's probably alright to merge this.
I enabled it to make debugging easier if bigger problems had come up.
Enabling it for unreleased, unstable (development) versions seemed alright to me.
