Motivation for this change

PyPy 5.10.0 was released on 2017-12-25.

Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option build-use-sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • other Linux distributions
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

Note: gprof2dot, which depends on pypy, compiles but fails to run outside of nix-shell; this is a pre-existing issue that I’ve reported as #33997.

This hardcoded list of CFFI extension modules gets stale when PyPy adds
more, but fortunately the main translation step already builds these now
(hack_for_cffi_modules in pypy/goal/targetpypystandalone.py).
