Getting an unhandled exception error when I try to open CKAN Settings I searched but didn't find any other reports of unhanded exceptions with this workflow.

Have you made any manual changes to your GameData folder (i.e., not via CKAN)?

I had plugins installed before CKAN. I removed them and deleted all the mod folders and reacquired the files from Steam to reset the install.

Problem

What steps did you take in CKAN?

For Settings Error

  1. Go to the Settings Menu
  2. Select CKAN Settings

What did you expect to happen?
Settings to load without error

What happened instead?
Got an unhandled exception error but I can continue to the settings screen. If i get the error a second time in the same session CKAN becomes unresponsive and I have to kill it from the task manager.

What I tried to resolve it:

  • Open CKAN as an admin
  • Remove GameData folder and reacquire KSP files from steam
  • Run from source: On this I don't get the error but it doens't connect to the repositories

Duplicate of #2300, fixed in #2301. As a workaround, click Continue and then add an auth token.
