@grahamc recurring stability issues with painful package sets leave me unable to propperly work with it as a dev and/or gaming system (gnome breaks badly, steam did some time ago) on top of that add nixos platform details which mean that i cannot replicate some issues my coworkers have and vice versa - that one in particular has bitten 3 times, i wont let it bite another time its pretty unfortunate, since i do firmly believe that the underlying technology of nix is way ahead, |

maintainers en mass and fit the filesystem layout expectations of all that
