I needed this extensions and wanted to share it with everyone. I also created the new group called pkgs.gnomeExtensions.

you can achieve the same by changing makeFlags in default.nix:
makeFlags = [ "INSTALLBASE=$(out)/share/gnome-shell/extensions" ];
