Motivation for this change

outdated: Mostly the new ace-editor integration:

Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option build-use-sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • Linux
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested grafana with the new features on my machine
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

Unless there is an important bug fixed by this update, I would prefer an upgrade to 4.4.3 first.
I suppose the final version of grafana will be released soon.

Alright, my intention was to get the ace integration in our master 👍
(Also I'd say that the included bug fixes are just minor ones)

The bug fixes are also integrated in 4.4.3. You can always use packageOverrides to get newer versions.

@Mic92 yeah I know about the overrides but I wanted to make the autocompletion and syntax highlighting features available to everyone using the nixpkgs master. I'm already using it on my machine :)

But I see what you mean and changed the pull request to update grafana to 4.4.3.
