The root filesystem is mounted to /mnt-root, not /root during Stage 1, so the patch in the old example - /root - normally doesn't exist.

Motivation for this change
The root filesystem is mounted to /mnt-root, not /root during Stage 1,
so the old example doesn't make much sense.
