Do you know whether spice-vdagent currently signals readiness by forking? Are there any services starting (immediately) after it? Just wondering if this will introduce any races.

spice-vdagent uses forking for readiness, so this change is not appropriate. It logs using syslog(3) under identity "spice-vdagentd", which should be captured by journald.
