During the tutorial, so that everyone is up and running fast, we will work atop a VM preloaded with RIOT and all the required toolchains etc. In preparation, before the tutorial, each participant should thus:

1. have a computer pre-installed with VirtualBox (>=5.2, with extension pack) or VMWare Player;
2. download the VM;
3. import the VM in VirtualBox/VMWare (For example, in VirtualBox, File > Import Appliance, then select the .ova file and click next)
4. run the VM, make sure it works! (e.g. you might need to enable virtualization technologies in your BIOS).
