So I'm pretty surprised to see this and others merged -- mostly because they seem to all break our convention ("rule"?) to use sha256's as posted by upstream for python packages, which is easy to see wasn't done for these-- all these new hashes are shorter in length (Nix-style) instead of the longer ones conventionally used/posted by pypi. Has there been a change in policy in this regard? If so link to discussion/thread would be appreciated! If not, errr please fix :). |
