Motivation for this change

The usual.

Summary of changes

The gexiv2 0.12 patch is included in this release.

Use org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings for middle click paste

That has been hardcoded with a patch.

Lastly there's a hardcode-gsettings patch for networkmanagerapplet org.gnome.nm-applet.eap
that is needed for wingpanel-indicator-network and switchboard-plug-network.

Though mind the commit msg 😄
Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • other Linux distributions
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nix-review --run "nix-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Determined the impact on package closure size (by running nix path-info -S before and after)
  • Assured whether relevant documentation is up to date
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

This is needed for the networking plug in pantheon.switchboard
and the related indicator in pantheon.wingpanel
Uses org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings
for middle click paste. I've hardcoded this with a patch.
