Version of OpenTTD

Version 1.9.1

Expected result

Assigned cargo/wagons stay the same unless manually changed to a different model.

Actual result

Wagons revert to the previous configuration upon next visit to the depot.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add any custom train set
  2. Create a train, add a mix of rolling stock (ex: passenger and mail wagons) from a New GRF
  3. Run your train for a while
  4. Return the train to the depot and replace the passenger and mail wagons with the system defaults (Non New-GRF)
  5. Let the train run until it goes in for maintenance, or manually send for maintenance

I can't even find a NewGRF offering trains that keeps the original wagons in addition to the new ones.

Thanks for this. There has been no activity for a while on this, and, no savegame or further steps to reproduce. There are no similar reports of this problem, but we can reopen if it comes up agin.

We try to keep the issue count low, so I'm going to close this one. Thanks!
