Version of OpenTTD

1.9.0-beta3 (Windows x64)

Expected result

autosave/netsave.sav contains a copy of the network game, if disconnected due to a desync.

Actual result

autosave/netsave.sav contains a copy of the title screen game.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Play multiplayer
  2. Be victim of a desync

(How to achieve step 2 is left as an exercise to the reader.)

I'm not able to reproduce this exact error now, but instead I'm getting that a desync does not produce a netsave.sav at all. I'm just not sure how the netsave.sav I got was then produced.
