This was merged and reverted before as it broke libreoffice, see #45814
I think LibreOffice has been updated since, though. I wonder if there is a reasonable way to mark `mdds` as a package that could be checked by building LibreOffice. On the other hand, things like that would probably complicate update logic too much, as LibreOffice builds are large enough to need running a single build for all the LO-only dependencies…
