2 weeks ago I reverted the libtensorflow: 1.9.0 -> 1.10 upgrade because it breaks the tensorflow Haskell package which at the moment is the only user of libtensorflow. Lets wait with this upgrade until the Haskell package supports it.

@timokau I believe it's still a blocker. The Haskell tensorflow package has not been updated to the latest libtensorflow yet.

2 weeks ago I reverted the libtensorflow: 1.9.0 -> 1.10 upgrade because it breaks the tensorflow Haskell package which at the moment is the only user of libtensorflow. Lets wait with this upgrade until the Haskell package supports it.

Just wanted to add a data point: the Haskell package is the only user of libtensorflow in the nixpkgs tree ;) --- downstream users may also use this derivation. I used to use it, but it is now trailing so far behind that I am overriding libtensorflow in my local overlay. I think it would be worthwhile providing the latest Tensorflow and the version that is needed by the Haskell module. It would also bring pythonPackages.tensorflow and libtensorflow in sync.
