Old upstream source disappeared, so backport to 18.03

Needs a tester, since the UI does not appear to launch for me, possibly due to my window manager.

(cherry picked from commit 81d5061)

Motivation for this change
Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • other Linux distributions
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Determined the impact on package closure size (by running nix path-info -S before and after)
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

I also do not see the UI in KDE, after installing it into my profile (my profile is based on unstable)

Tested on i3 - UI works without problems. There were some problems with audio and mic settings for my bluetooth headset which I've managed to solve via blueman.

I think this related due to being on unstable, while installing a package for 18.03.
