Simgear doesn't build with OpenSceneGraph 3.5 or later.

@Moredread is this ready to merge now / does it still segfault? |

On my nixos-unstable system:
I'm afraid I have no idea how to fix this. Don't use these packages myself... |
@xeji That is what I get... Is it the same for glxinfo? |
@xeji Can you try creating an empty file for |
No, that seems to run fine here.
Still segfaults, same error. |
Marking this as WIP for now |
|
@globin Thanks, I was fighting to get the debug symbols loaded. How did you do it? |
I didn't run it in any special way, just gdb on the executable referenced in the wrapper. |
There is a related update in #49617 |
included in #49617, which was just merged. |
Motivation for this change
Updating flightgear.
Building the old version of flightgear - 2017.3.1 - also needs the first commit, as 0624e49 breaks the build on master.
Sadly, while building fine, I get a segfault when running the fgfs binary on a 18.03 NixOS system when building on master. :/ When cherry picked to 18.03 it works though.
glxinfo
segfaults as well... So it seems to be a more general problemWould supersede #38891
