Motivation for this change

A useful graphical and command line tool that solves a real need: cropping PDF's. Useful to clean up scans etc.

Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • other Linux distributions
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nox --run "nox-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Determined the impact on package closure size (by running nix path-info -S before and after)
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

Why do you disable tests?

Nitpick: Maybe remove that empty line?

Empty line removed as suggested.

The reason to disable tests is that there is an interference with different versions of Qt installed in the build profile. This leads to an error:

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in ""
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Once installed, the application works exactly like it should.
