Motivation / Problem
In American English, the word for "maize" is "corn" (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maize). As an American, when I first played a game in a tropical climate, I didn't know the word "maize" so I had to look it up just to find out that it's the same thing as what Americans call "corn".
Also in American English the preferred spelling is "liter" not "litre". This is much more minor, but I might as well fix it as well.
Description
I simply changed the British words/spellings to their American equivalent.
Limitations
Obviously it will now be in American English instead of British English, but this is only for the American English translation. People who want the game in British English should be using the British English translation which won't be affected by this.
