Motivation for this change

This is currently being used as part of the NixOS.org infrastructure [1]
and should probably be included here and not just "downstream" (in the
nixops configs).

  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)

The previous version stopped working on 20.09 and this should unblock the deployment until NixOS/nixpkgs#104500 / NixOS/nixpkgs#104501 arrive in the stable channel of this box.
