I can confirm the issue with freecad still occurs so I opened an issue upstream: https://tracker.freecadweb.org/view.php?id=4349 |

@doronbehar The issue has since been fixed in freecad master. If upstream doesn't want to backport the changes, we could switch to a git version of freecad. |

I don't see exactly a "resolution" there, but perhaps I missing something... Anyway, I'm just hunting down old PRs - if you'd make another PR that will switch FreeCAD to a git version, and thus it'll enable to merge this, feel free to ping me there and I'll test it. |
