Motivation for this change
backport #101444
cherry-pick -xwasn't used because there were significant merge conflicts, so i just did acpof the one from master. If changes were following backport conventions, then all changes should be captured.Working with docbook is painful enough, doing git merge diffs with docbook is pure pain in markup form.
