Motivation for this change
Things done
  • Tested using sandboxing (nix.useSandbox on NixOS, or option sandbox in nix.conf on non-NixOS linux)
  • Built on platform(s)
    • NixOS
    • macOS
    • other Linux distributions
  • Tested via one or more NixOS test(s) if existing and applicable for the change (look inside nixos/tests)
  • Tested compilation of all pkgs that depend on this change using nix-shell -p nixpkgs-review --run "nixpkgs-review wip"
  • Tested execution of all binary files (usually in ./result/bin/)
  • Determined the impact on package closure size (by running nix path-info -S before and after)
  • Ensured that relevant documentation is up to date
  • Fits CONTRIBUTING.md.

The shader pack is included in the pypi build

I don't think this is required at all. We have two patches here which could be easily replaced by substituteInPlace.

This is a semi-automatic executed nixpkgs-review which does not build all packages (e.g. lumo, tensorflow or pytorch)
If you find some bugs or got suggestions for further things to search or run please reach out to SuperSandro2000 on IRC.

First of all, thank you for updating the package. This update fell off my radar.

Playing videos works without problems (Jellyfin 10.7.0 on Sway).

The procedure regarding the patches should be decided by someone from the comitters.
