Asked about the relicensing in wmww/gtk-layer-shell#40 (comment) |
I don't know if meta.changelog needs to be something more specific, but I noticed it's empty and I do now have a changelog here: https://github.com/wmww/gtk-layer-shell/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md |
For projects that are on GitHub and include the changes in GitHub releases there is no need to set I opened an issue against our updater: nix-community/nixpkgs-update#230 |
License changed
* Use `pkg-config` instead of the alias. * `gobject-introspection` is used during build for GIR generation, move it to `nativeBuildInputs`. * Remove unused `out` meson flag. * Enable docs. * Split to multiple outputs.

Either download from Cachix:
(r-ryantm's Cachix cache is only trusted for this store-path realization.)
For the Cachix download to work, your user must be in the
trusted-users
list or you can usesudo
since root is effectively trusted.Or, build yourself:
After you've downloaded or built it, look at the files and if there are any, run the binaries:
Pre-merge build results
We have automatically built all packages that will get rebuilt due to
this change.
This gives evidence on whether the upgrade will break dependent packages.
Note sometimes packages show up as failed to build independent of the
change, simply because they are already broken on the target branch.
