Oh, yeah, right. @jordens, the section of installation manual you were referring to only matters for source installs without conda, all other cases should be good.

Sure. I know how this works. No need for 15.10 nor a PPA. And conda is fine for development. That's yet another reason why the reference to 15.10 is problematic.
