This script runs ./soldatserver, and ASE server that somewhat restored missing functionality.

You should be able to replace ./soldatserver with ./soldat.py

If you really need backwards compatibility for your Soldat server you should use this little tool.

Parsing game stats log and config file gives you pretty much everything to restore ASE responses.
